Illinois Motorcycle Crash Victim Loses Shoe, Flees in Stolen Car

LOMBARD, IL – A man involved in a vehicle versus motorcycle accident made a swift getaway by stealing a car Tuesday afternoon.

Witnesses reported that a station wagon collided with the motorcycle, causing the rider to lose his shoe. Seizing the opportunity, the injured rider stole a black Acura and fled westbound on St. Charles Road in the car.

Further investigation revealed that the motorcycle was already reported stolen in Roselle. The suspect, described as a white male with a black shirt, red bandanna, and one good shoe, is currently at large. 

Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
