Kankakee Man arrested after speeding in Bradley on Warrant, Weapons Charges

BRADLEY – A 22-year-old Kankakee man was arrested Friday after police stopped his vehicle for speeding.

According to Bradley Police, it happened Friday night just after 11pm when officers stopped a white Yukon GMC speeding on West Broadway.  Officers discovered shortly after the stop the driver, 22-year-old Antoine L Blandon Jr of Kankakee, had a warrant issued for his arrest.  A search of Blandon’s vehicle turned up a pistol with ammunition.  Landon did not have a FOID card at the time of the stop.

Blandon was charged with Unlawful Use or a Weapon and ammunition and booked into Jerome Combs Detention Center.
