ALSIP, IL – A man was shot multiple times in the parking lot of My Kidzplay, an indoor playground in Alsip, on Saturday evening. The victim was ambushed by a group of unknown offenders who then fled in two vehicles, a silver BMW and a Jeep Compass.
According to Alsip Police, Officers received a call reporting gunfire at approximately 5:27 p.m. Officers arrived on the scene within two minutes and found the victim in the parking lot. No other injuries were reported, and the victim’s condition is currently unknown.
Witnesses described the offenders as a group of Black males, and at this time, the incident appears to be a targeted attack on a single individual. The general public is not believed to be at risk.
