GLEN ELLYN, IL – A harrowing rollover accident occurred in close proximity to Morton Arboretum at Route 53 and Park Blvd Sunday morning, but a child’s life was miraculously saved by a properly installed car seat.
Two cars were involved in the crash, with one ending up on its side. Despite the severity of the accident, all individuals involved were able to exit the vehicles safely and refused medical attention.
One of the firefighters at the scene praised the car seat for protecting the child and preventing any injuries.
