Suspected Intentional Fire at Illinois Trader Joe’s Sparks Investigation

MINOOKA, IL – A fire broke out at Trader Joe’s on 1510 Cargo Ct Thursday night, raising suspicions of arson. 

Minooka Fire Protection District (FPD) responded to an automatic fire alarm around 10:30 p.m., only to find several pallets ablaze inside the building. Firefighters swiftly tackled the intense flames and requested investigators to determine the cause. The incident shocked the community, known for its affection towards the grocery store. 

Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward. As the investigation unfolds, the Minooka FPD remains committed to ensuring the safety of the community and holding those responsible accountable.
