Momence set to star in new season of Fargo debuting Sept 27th

The ‘Old Border Town’ has a little over a month until it makes its small-screen debut when Fargo, Season 4 hits FX. The series, staring Chris Rock, is set to debut on FX on April 19, but the premiere was pushed back due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Filming on the latest season of Fargo began last October and continued on and off through March when filming was shut down due to the novel coronavirus pandemic. Further scenes scheduled to be shot in the town were canceled due to the pandemic.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly about the upcoming release of the Fargo anthology series, Chris Rock told EW the part is “probably the best part I’ll ever have.” Rock plays Loy Cannon, head of an African-American crime family who trades sons with the head of the Italian mafia as part of a truce.

In 1950 Kansas City, two criminal syndicates fighting for a piece of the American dream have struck an uneasy peace. Together, they control an alternate economy of exploitation, graft and drugs. To cement their truce, Loy Cannon (Chris Rock), the head of the African American crime family, trades his youngest son Satchel (Rodney Jones), to his enemy Donatello Fadda (Tommaso Ragno), the head of the Italian mafia. In return, Donatello surrenders his youngest son Zero (Jameson Braccioforte) to Loy. When Donatello dies in the hospital following a routine surgery, the tenuous truce is threatened…

The new season of Fargo stars Chris RockJason SchwartzmanBen Whishaw, Jessie Buckley, Jack Huston, and Timothy Olyphant. The first two episodes will debut on September 27th on FX.
