BRAIDWOOD, IL – A series of vehicle break-ins at Harbor Landing in early September led Braidwood Police on a hunt for the perpetrator. Among the stolen items were wallets, credit cards, and even a car, which was later found in Hammond, Indiana.

On Monday, the trail led investigators to Raequan T. Williams of Harvey, IL. Following an implicating interview, Williams now faces alleged charges of Motor Vehicle Theft, Burglary, and Unlawful Use of a Credit Card.

Williams has since been released awaiting a court date.
