BRAIDWOOD – A potential School threat to the Reed Custer School District early Friday has been allegedly discovered made up by a district student.
According to Braidwood Police, the Braidwood Police Department received information about a potential School threat to the Reed Custer School District early Friday morning. Within an hour of the threat being received, police conducted several interviews determining the threat was made up by a student.
The student, who was not identified by name or grade status due to being a minor, later allegedly admitted the threat was made up to police.
“There is no known threat to the Reed Custer School District.” Braidwood Police said Friday morning.
