Woman Shot in Leg at Joliet Bar in Early Morning Shooting

Joliet, IL – A woman was shot in the leg at Eden’s Bar and Grill on Gardner Street in Joliet during the early hours of March 11, 2023. 

According to police officers, they responded to multiple rounds of gunfire in the area at around 2:41 AM, and the victim was found inside the bar.

Initial investigations suggest that the bar was fired upon from outside, with several rounds hitting the building and the victim being struck while inside. After conducting an extensive search of the area, the Joliet Fire Department transported the victim to Ascension St. Joseph Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Joliet Police Detectives are currently investigating the incident and attempting to identify the suspect or suspects responsible for the shooting.
