Louisville Faces Strong Storms and Muggy Weather

Louisville, KY – Warm temperatures and muggy conditions will persist today, accompanied by an increase in showers and thunderstorms this afternoon, the US National Weather Service reports. Showers and storms are also anticipated on Wednesday ahead of a cold front.

According to the US National Weather Service, both today and tomorrow may see a few strong to severe storms, with gusty winds and localized flooding as primary concerns. Residents are advised to stay informed about weather updates and take necessary precautions, particularly in flood-prone areas.

Today’s temperatures will range from 81 to 86 degrees, with thunderstorm chances increasing as the day progresses. Tonight, lows will be between 66 and 72 degrees, maintaining the humid conditions. Wednesday’s forecast predicts an 80% chance of thunderstorms, with highs between 79 and 83 degrees and lows from 60 to 67 degrees.

The end of the week is expected to bring relief with drier and slightly cooler weather. Thursday and Friday will see highs in the low to mid-80s and mid-70s to 80 degrees, respectively, with significantly reduced chances of storms.
