Madison, WI – The Madison Police Department is searching for 37-year-old Jerome Jacobs, a person of interest in Sunday night’s attempted homicide on Andrew Way.
According to the police, two individuals were injured in the shooting, with one remaining in critical condition. The incident occurred on Sunday night, causing significant concern within the community. Jacobs is believed to have been involved in the violent encounter that left two people wounded. Authorities have not yet disclosed the motive behind the shooting but emphasize the urgency of locating Jacobs.
Following the shooting, Jacobs was involved in a car crash in Eau Claire. Despite the crash, he managed to flee the scene before law enforcement could apprehend him. Jacobs currently has a felony DOC warrant, adding to the urgency of the search. The Madison Police Department is working closely with neighboring law enforcement agencies to track his whereabouts.
