MINOOKA, IL — A Bourbonnais man, previously out on pretrial release, was arrested Saturday evening after a reported violent home invasion.

Kevin Hayward, 26, faces multiple felony charges, including Residential Burglary and Criminal Trespass. Minooka Police report Hayward allegedly slashed tires and committed theft before threatening a woman and another individual at knifepoint in Minooka.

Hayward, who was charged in October with Aggravated Domestic Battery and misdemeanor charges, violated his pretrial conditions under the Safe-T Act. Saturday’s incident ended with no physical injuries, as one victim managed to alert authorities leading to Hayward’s apprehension later by Bradley Police. Hayward is now being held at Grundy County Jail.
