MANTENO, IL – In a move aimed at enhancing community safety, the Village of Manteno has relaunched its highly popular Camera Rebate Program.

Under this initiative, residents can now receive rebates of up to $100 for purchasing security cameras. The program, which officially began on June 1, 2023, will continue accepting purchase receipts until December 31, 2023. This limited-time opportunity is available to all residential property owners within the village limits.

The Camera Rebate Program aims to empower residents in their efforts to safeguard their homes and promote a secure environment for everyone. By incentivizing the use of security cameras, Manteno hopes to deter criminal activity and assist law enforcement in investigating incidents when they occur.

To participate in the program, interested residents must retain their purchase receipts and submit them to the Village Hall or the Police Department. For any additional information or inquiries, individuals can contact the Village Hall at (815) 929-4800 or the Police Department at (815) 929-4801.
