Naperville, IL – Firefighters Injured in Early Saturday Naperville Duplex Fire, $200,000 Damages Incurred

Naperville, IL – An early morning fire on Saturday at a Naperville duplex resulted in injuries to two firefighters and approximately $200,000 in damages. The Naperville Fire Department was alerted to the blaze in the 2500 block of Eldorado Lane at 12:03 a.m., dispatching a robust response team. Despite the significant efforts to control the fire, which was primarily located in a second-floor bedroom, the residence was declared uninhabitable.

The injured firefighters were evaluated and subsequently released, underscoring the risks faced by fire and rescue personnel in their line of duty. The operation saw the collaborative effort of the Naperville Police and Electric departments, with additional support from Bolingbrook, Warrenville, and Plainfield fire departments. 

The cause of the blaze is currently under investigation.
