Ottawa, IL – Early Morning Truck Crash Near Pizza Restaurant Disrupts Power, Traffic

Ottawa, IL – A truck collided with a structure near a pizza restaurant on West Norris Street early Wednesday morning, causing significant disruption. 

According to the Ottawa Police Department, the incident led to downed power lines and necessitated traffic rerouting onto Chestnut Street. Emergency services, including the Ottawa Police and Fire Departments, quickly responded to the scene. Despite the severity of the accident, there are currently no reports of major injuries. 

The situation is ongoing, and residents are advised to avoid the area until the vehicle is removed and power lines are restored. Further updates are expected as the investigation continues.
