Peoria, IL – Police Arrest Three in Kidnapping Case After Finding Man Bound

Peoria, IL – Peoria Police arrested three men Saturday after discovering a man bound inside a residence in the 1800 block of W. Martin. Officers responded to the scene at approximately 8:36 a.m. and found the victim with straps on his legs and arms. The man sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

According to the Peoria Police Department, Alvaro DeJesus Lopez, 29, and Juan C. Pixtun Cheguen, 36, were charged with alleged kidnapping and battery. A third individual was released without charges. All suspects were taken to Peoria County Jail.
