Having been identified as a person of interest in the Romeoville tragedy, Huey Jr.’s whereabouts became a major concern, especially after the female linked to him was reported missing.
Romeoville police’s alerts paid off when Catoosa officers spotted Huey Jr.’s vehicle on Wednesday. The subsequent events were tragic: a crash, two gunshots, and the female found critically wounded. Huey Jr. was pronounced dead at the scene. The motive linking Huey Jr. to the Romeoville family remains undisclosed, adding more layers to an already complex investigation.
