Paducah, KY – Residents of Kentucky and eastern Missouri should prepare for a period of unstable weather, with isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms expected through Friday night.

According to the US National Weather Service in Paducah, Kentucky, better chances of showers and storms are anticipated from Saturday through Tuesday, especially during the afternoon and early evening. High temperatures will be near normal today, reaching between 86 and 90 degrees, then slightly below normal Friday and through the weekend. A warming trend next week will result in above-normal temperatures by Tuesday and Wednesday, with highs reaching 96 degrees.

Friday’s forecast predicts isolated thunderstorms with temperatures ranging from 83 to 87 degrees. Over the weekend, scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely, with highs between 81 and 88 degrees. Sunday will see numerous thunderstorms and temperatures from 84 to 88 degrees.

The start of the next week will bring scattered thunderstorms on Monday, with highs of 87 to 91 degrees. By Tuesday and Wednesday, temperatures will soar between 90 and 96 degrees, with scattered thunderstorms on Tuesday and isolated storms on Wednesday.
