Schaumburg, IL – Schaumburg Police are probing into a targeted shooting incident that alarmed a local community Wednesday night.
The Schaumburg Police Department, in a recent statement, reported that officers rushed to the 1000 block of Boston Harbor around 8:50 p.m. on February 28 after receiving a 911 call about gunfire. Although the shots did not injure anyone, they did strike one residence, leading investigators to believe the home was specifically targeted.
The search is on for a male spotted near the scene, described as wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, and a baseball hat. The police emphasize the investigation’s active status and are appealing to the public for any information or home video footage that could assist in the case.
