Severe Thunderstorms Expected in Southern Wisconsin Tonight, High Risk of Tornadoes

Milwaukee, WI – Severe thunderstorms are expected to sweep across southern Wisconsin tonight, bringing damaging winds, large hail, and the potential for a few tornadoes.

According to the National Weather Service in Milwaukee, the highest risk for severe weather will occur between 6 and 10 p.m. Tuesday. Widespread high winds are anticipated, with the strongest impact in southwestern Wisconsin.

Residents are urged to stay alert and monitor weather updates for any warnings. The most significant hazards include damaging winds, large hail, and the possibility of tornadoes. Areas such as Madison, Milwaukee, and surrounding regions should prepare for fast-moving storms and potential severe weather conditions throughout the evening.
