Teens Hospitalized After High School Football Game Chaos

Chicago, IL – Two juvenile teens were hospitalized following a shooting in the Woodlawn neighborhood Friday night. 

Chicago police flooded the intersection of 64th and Blackstone after the teens were shot just after 10 p.m. The boy, 15,  is in critical condition with an abdominal wound, while the girl, 16,  is in good condition with a foot injury. 

A witness leaving the Mount Carmel versus Morgan Park football game described the chaos when the shots rang out. 

Westbound CTA buses along 63rd Street were rerouted for three hours during the police investigation. 

No arrests have been made.
