Trackers at John Hopkins University report there are now 1,002,498 cases of COVID-19 in the United States.  The second closest country is Spain with 232,128 total cases.

The news follows a day after a Illinois Republican State Representative challenging Governor Prizker’s Stay-at-Home order extension in the name of public health.
