Woodridge, IL – Naperville Police, with crucial support from the DuPage Metropolitan Enforcement Group, have detained a man from Bolingbrook on grave felony charges, concluding a month-long investigation into suspected cocaine trafficking in the Naperville area.
According to police reports the arrest was executed shortly after 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, in a parking lot located in the 6000 block of Illinois Route 53, Woodridge. The individual in question, Cornell Gandy III, 27, residing on the 300 block of Whitewater Drive in Bolingbrook, is confronted with two counts of alleged Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, including one Class X felony and a Class 1 felony.
The Naperville Police remind everyone that an accusation does not imply guilt, and the defendant is considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
