Late Wednesday evening, several goats and sheep from a nearby farm decided to explore beyond their usual confines, wandering onto the highway and creating a spectacle for travelers.
Virginia State Troopers were quick to respond, ensuring the safety of both the animals and the motorists. The escapade caused a temporary slowdown on the interstate as drivers paused to witness the unusual sight. Chesapeake Animal Patrol was soon on the scene, coordinating with the troopers to corral the adventurous herd and safely return them to their farm.
