Chaos in Orland Park: Five Injured in Fleeing Vehicle Collision

ORLAND PARK, IL – The Orland Fire Protection District and the Tinley Park Fire Department responded to a multiple vehicle accident on Saturday afternoon. 

The accident occurred at the intersection of 159th Street and 80th Avenue and involved four vehicles, with one of them fleeing the scene. 

According to Orland Fire, two speeding vehicles collided with others, causing a crash in Orland Park. Five victims received prompt medical care and were transported to hospitals, reported to be stable. Another victim was taken to Christ Hospital with undisclosed condition. Prompt response mitigated severity, providing hope for recovery.

As the weather warms up and more people hit the roads, authorities are urging caution and safe driving practices to prevent accidents like this from occurring. 

The Orland Park Police Department has taken over the investigation into the accident.
