The Kankakee Municipal Band has canceled their 2020 Summer Season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“It’s with a heavy heart that the Kankakee Municipal Band announces the cancellation of our 2020 summer season. We know this is a great disappointment to everyone, but we must put the safety of our members, audience and vendors first at this time. We appreciate all of our supporters, and look forward to seeing you again June 3, 2021,” said Kankakee Municipal Band President Voneda Denault on Sunday.
Kankakee Municipal Band announced was a result of the Kankakee Valley Park District reportedly canceling all summer concerts and events for the Season.
