Merrillville, IN – Commuters, brace for significant I-65 traffic alterations from March 18, as INDOT and Milestone Contractors North Inc. conclude concrete restoration between U.S. 231 and U.S. 30.

Expect lane reductions to two in each direction from 61st to 109th Ave, with concurrent right lane and shoulder works. Notably, ramps to and from U.S. 30 and I-65 will close temporarily for around 10 days.

Post-daylight hours will introduce overnight lane closures for final touches, aiming for a mid-April completion. INDOT emphasizes safety and patience during these essential updates for a smoother I-65.
