Blazing Walton Avenue Garage Fire Stopped in its Tracks in Michigan City

MICHIGAN CITY — Michigan City Fire responded swiftly to a fierce garage blaze on Walton Avenue at approximately 9:30pm Sunday night. 

According to Firefighters, Engine 2, arriving on the scene, discovered the standalone garage completely engulfed in flames. Thanks to the rapid response and diligent efforts of the fire crew, the inferno was promptly subdued, averting potential spread to nearby buildings. 

No injuries were reported in the incident.  Officials are currently probing into the origins of this unexpected fire.
