Valparaiso Police and Secret Service Offer Free Financial Crime Prevention Training

VALPARAISO, IN — The Valparaiso Police Department, in collaboration with the United States Secret Service, is offering a free training session on financial and cyber-crime prevention. 

The event is scheduled for December 4, 2023, at the Valparaiso Police Department from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. This timely initiative, targeting business owners, banking institutions, and retail or service providers, aims to address the rise in fraudulent activities during the holiday shopping season. The course will provide essential information to safeguard customers and institutions. 

Captain E.J. Hall invites interested parties to RSVP at info@valpopd.com, noting that seating is limited to 60 participants. The Valparaiso Police Department emphasizes the importance of this training in protecting the community against financial crimes.
