Bourbonnais, IL – Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Illinois, has been honored with the prestigious 2024 Ellucian Impact Award in the Innovation category. The university’s effective use of technology in enhancing student support programs has garnered this significant recognition.

According to university announcements, President Dr. Gregg Chenoweth was informed of this achievement earlier this month.

Ellucian, known for its innovative software and data solutions in higher education, has over 2,900 customers in 50 countries, impacting 22 million students globally. Their Impact Awards spotlight visionaries in higher education who leverage technology to address challenges, improve efficiency, and enhance the student experience.

Kevin Hatcher, Olivet’s Executive Director of Revenue, Technology, and Operations for Development, is set to receive the award at the Ellucian Live event in San Antonio, Texas, this April. Hatcher highlighted the exceptional collaboration within the Enrollment Operations Department at Olivet, which managed a complex software system transition for graduate and continuing studies recruitment.

Tania Stott, Associate Director of Admissions Operations at Olivet, played a pivotal role by submitting the required materials, making Olivet eligible for this accolade and its associated $25,000 prize. She emphasized the versatility of Ellucian’s CRM Recruit, based on the Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform, in addressing higher education recruitment and enrollment challenges.
