Frankfort Police Host ‘Coasting with a Cop’ Event on June 14

Frankfort, IL – The Frankfort Police Department is set to host its annual “Coasting with a Cop” event on June 14, inviting community members to join in on a morning of family-friendly activities. The event will take place at Breidert Green at 10 a.m. and is open to participants of all ages.

According to the Frankfort Police Department, this year’s event will feature a bike ride around Prairie Park, offering a unique opportunity for residents to interact with local law enforcement in a relaxed, informal setting. The Frankfort Public Library will also participate, providing story time and a variety of children’s activities to engage the younger attendees.

Families are encouraged to bring their bicycles and helmets to fully participate in the event. “Coasting with a Cop” aims to foster positive relationships between the police force and the community, promoting safety and mutual respect through shared activities and open dialogue.
