Indiana Man Tragically Killed in Devastating Roadside Collision with Trees

La Porte, IN – An Indiana man’s vehicle veered off the roadway Tuesday, resulting in a fatal collision with a tree.

According to La Porte County Sheriff’s Office reports the incident occurred at 3:59 PM in the 300 North block of County Road 250 East. The victim, identified by authorities as William J. Armour, a 62-year-old resident of Mill Creek, was the sole occupant of a maroon 2014 Ford passenger vehicle. 

The vehicle inexplicably left the roadway driving left of center before careening off the east side of the road, directly into a tree. Despite the impact of the crash, continued another 100 feet before meeting another tree head-on, before finally coming to a stop.

Despite the best efforts of local authorities and first responders, Armour was pronounced dead at the scene.
