Kinzinger says ‘no place on congress for conspiracies’ after QAnon conspiracy theorist wins election

Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R) said Wednesday in a tweet “Qanon is a fabrication” that has “no place in Congress.” The comments come a day after Marjorie Taylor Greene, a QAnon conspiracy theorist, won the Republican nomination in a Georgia congressional runoff election.

QAnon is a far-right conspiracy theory that alleges the “deep state” is engaged in a global fight to take down President Trump. Trump on several occasions has retweeted QAnon accounts.
