KANKAKEE – The front wall of a City-owned building was damaged by high winds over the weekend.

According to Kankakee Fire, it happened around 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the 1900 block of East Court Street.  That’s when winds clocking in around 60 mph at the time knocked down a wall of the building.

No one was injured in the incident.  The building is expected to be demolished later this week.
