Indiana High School Student Killed in Devastating Crash involving Parked Car

MIDDLEBURY, IN – A Northridge High School 11th grader tragically lost their life in a collision on U.S. 20 near County Road 31. The incident occurred at 1 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 26, when a parked vehicle was struck by a westbound car.

Middlebury Community Schools expressed condolences for the loss, identifying the victim as an 11th grader. The community is reeling from the news, rallying around the family and friends during this difficult time.

“We’ve learned that a Northridge High School 11th grader was killed last night in a traffic accident on US 20,” the school district announced. Support will be offered with counselors and mental health professionals available on Monday to aid affected students and staff.

While the victim’s identity remains undisclosed, the incident serves as a tragic reminder of life’s fragility.
