Gilman Residents Alarmed as Mailboxes Vandalized: Help Needed to Catch Culprits

GILMAN, IL – A wave of vandalism struck Gilman overnight Monday and Tuesday, leaving several vehicles and mailboxes damaged. 

The Iroquois County Sheriff’s Department is urging local businesses and residents to review their home surveillance footage, hoping to identify the perpetrators and their vehicles. 

Despite the presence of a suspect vehicle captured on video, authorities have been unable to establish its identity. To aid in the investigation, citizens are urged to report any relevant information to the Iroquois County Sheriff’s Office at 815-432-6993 or contact the ICOM Dispatch non-emergency line at 815-432-4918.
