Residents of Bourbonnais, Illinois, can now plan ahead for the village’s annual brush pick-up program. The 2023 calendar has been announced, with dates and areas outlined for pick-up.

The program is divided into four areas, each including several subdivisions. Residents should refer to the attached map to determine which area they belong to and the corresponding pick-up dates.

It’s important to note that brush and shrubs should be cut down to the roots, and any piles larger than a pickup truck will not be accepted. All small piles must be bundled and tied with rope or twine, with no wire.

Moreover, the village will not accept full trees or anything cut by anyone other than the homeowner. Therefore, homeowners should refrain from placing brush out sooner than the weekend before their scheduled pick-up date.

Additionally, residents should not place brush in the roadway. Brush should be out at the curb by 7 A.M. on the scheduled pick-up date.

For any questions regarding the program or pick-up dates, residents can call Public Works at 815-937-0817.

The program will start on March 22nd and continue until October 25th. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to have the village pick up your brush, shrubs, and tree limbs.
