MAHNOMEN, MN – In a puzzling turn of events, the Mahnomen County Sheriff’s Office and White Earth Police Department have launched a joint investigation into an ATV crash with serious injuries that seems to have vanished into thin air. The alarm was raised at approximately 5:30 a.m. Sunday morning when an anonymous caller reported the incident at Roy Lake landing.

As the sun began to rise, law enforcement and Fire/EMS teams embarked on a frantic search for the victim and any signs of a crash site. Despite their tireless efforts, they’ve encountered an eerie silence at the scene, with no victim or wreckage to be found.

The disappearance has left the community on edge, prompting authorities to issue a plea to residents to check in with their loved ones who were out late last night or early this morning.
