Village of Bourbonnais Swears in Incumbents

Four candidates sought three open seats on the Village of Bourbonnais Board of Trustees election held on April 2, 2019. Incumbents Randy King, Jeff Keast and Jack Littrell were successful in their re-election campaigns. All were sworn in at the board meeting held on May 6, 2019.

Randy King led the election win with 26 percent (934) of the votes, followed by Jack Littrell with 26 percent (925) and concluding with Jeff Keast at 25 percent (889) . Candidate Jane Hove fell shy with 24 percent (855) of the votes.

“I congratulate all candidates for their passion and dedication to the Village of Bourbonnais,” stated Mayor Paul Schore. “And a special congratulations to the current trustees on winning their re-election. I’m proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish for the community by working together. I look forward to the next two years, and what we are able to achieve for Bourbonnais in that time.”

Trustee Randy King currently serves as Chairman on the Public Works Committee; Trustee Jeff Keast currently serves as Chairman on the Community and Economic Development Committee; and Trustee Jack Littrell currently serves as Chairman on the Utility Committee.
