Bourbonnais Rallies For Bears Camp

The one-hundred seven heat index didn’t stop football fans from coming out to the Friday Night Lights Fest on Friday. The second-annual family-friendly football festival was held at BrickStone Brewery Production Facility in Bourbonnais, IL. The event was put on by the Kankakee Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Village of Bourbonnais and the Kankakee County Convention and Visitors Bureau. The festival is a community-wide pep rally and football field event presented by Bear Construction.

The Weekend Recap

During the weekend of June 14-16, 2019 two local events were held. The Senior Safety Fair, hosted by States Attorney Jim Rowe, at Quality Inn and Suites in Bradley, provided local seniors with information and resources to take charge of their healthcare and protect themselves from scams that target the elderly.
