JOLIET – Bond has been set at $150,000 for a Crest Hill man after allegedly making threats against the Will County Courthouse last week.

According to reports, dispatchers received a call last Friday to 9-1-1 by an unknown man who told dispatch “everyone needs to be outside the Will County Courthouse by 3:30pm.”  When the dispatcher asked why, the man just replied “Ya’ll see.”

After an investigation, Rickey Evans, 32, of Crest Hill became a person of interest.  Evans was arrested following evidence obtained to charge the man in connection to the threat on the building.
