JOLIET, IL – Two people from Joliet were killed following a crash in Preston Heights Tuesday.
The Will County Coroner’s Office reported the deaths of Elbert Washington, 80, and Michelle Weithers, 61, Wednesday afternoon following a collision on IL 53 and Louis Road.
The Illinois State Police is investigating the incident. Further details are expected following the police, autopsy, and toxicology reports.
