Michigan: USPS Worker Hospitalized After Colliding with Cement Truck

CALEDONIA, Mich — A collision occurred early morning around 8:20 a.m. at 84th Street SE and Cooper Heights Drive SE between a USPS van and a cement truck, leaving the postal worker seriously injured. 

According to the Kent County Sheriff’s Office, a 37-year-old USPS driver from Gaines Township made a U-turn right in front of the cement truck, leading to the mishap. 

While she’s been cited for the incident and remains hospitalized, the 29-year-old cement truck driver from Wyoming sustained minor injuries and was promptly discharged post-treatment.
