CHAMPAIGN, IL – A man and woman duo caused pandemonium at a local business on East Green Street last week, sparking fear and concern among bystanders.

According to University of Illinois Police reports, it happened last Wednesday morning around 7:30 a.m. when despite repeated requests to leave, the two allegedly persisted in their unruly and threatening behavior. The female suspect allegedly took things to an alarming level by threatening to shoot an employee, even hinting at having a firearm and allegedly showcasing a part of the weapon.

Before the police could respond, the offenders fled the scene, leaving authorities with an ongoing investigation. Officers managed to later apprehend both suspects.

Christine J Danley, 35 of Champaign, was arrested on one count of aggravated assault in a public setting.  Her companion, Jacob T Jordan, 39 of Urbana, was arrested hours later on Harmon Street on Trespassing Charges.
