Kankakee Valley Park District Debuts Three Playgrounds in June

KANKAKEE, IL – The Kankakee Valley Park District is excited to announce the opening of three new playgrounds with ribbon-cutting ceremonies on Tuesday, June 20. 

Families are invited to join the celebrations at Washington Park, Bert Dear, Sr. Park, and Potawatomi Park. 

The first 25 children at each location will receive special gifts. The schedule is as follows: Washington Park at 2:00 pm, Bert Dear, Sr. Park at 3:00 pm, and Potawatomi Park at 4:30 pm. 

The Kankakee Valley Park District aims to provide safe and engaging outdoor spaces for children to promote physical activity and social interaction.
