Peoria Nighttime Shooting Ends Fatally

PEORIA, IL — A deadly shooting rattled Peoria late Monday night, as officers rushed to the scene around 10:15 p.m. in the 1800 block of S. Stanley, where they discovered an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. Although promptly transported to a local hospital, the victim’s life couldn’t be saved.

As the Peoria County Coroner prepares to disclose the cause of death, Peoria Police’s CID, CSU, and Patrol Unit teams delve deep into their investigation.
