Masked subjects spotted checking vehicles in Bourbonnais, SUV stolen earlier in evening

BOURBONNAIS – Two people were spotted casing vehicles near Patriot Park early Saturday morning.

A resident managed to capture one of the suspects on on a Ring Floodlight camera around 1:39 a.m. this morning.  The video shows a suspect approaching a parked vehicle wearing a black mask, black sweatshirt and grey pants who approached a parked vehicle before returning to what appears to be a Hyundai Nexo Compact SUV.

An SUV was reported stolen from a residence on Kim Drive in Belle Aire Subdivision around 12:30 a.m.  It’s unclear if the incidents are connected.
