Man beaten at Kankakee Gas Station

KANKAKEE – A man was beaten while at a Gas Station in the city Monday.

According to City Police, the victim was at a gas station in the 300 block of South Nelson Avenue when two men he recognized approached him.  Shortly after contact they reportedly began beating him until he fell to the ground, then began kicking him.

The victim reported he had seen the men before but didn’t know their names.  Police are investigating the incident.
