NAPERVILLE, Ill. – An alarming discovery led to the detention of Jalen Littleton, 19, from Hammond, Indiana, after Naperville police officers allegedly found a loaded machine gun in his possession at the family-oriented TopGolf venue on Odyssey Court this past Saturday evening.

Officers, during a routine patrol, reportedly spotted a gun on the driver’s side floorboard of Littleton’s black Chevy Cruze. Investigations revealed it was reportedly a fully-equipped Glock 22 .40 caliber handgun with a laser sight and an auto switch, allowing it to fire automatically. Notably, Littleton did not hold a valid FOID or CCL.

DuPage County State’s Attorney Robert Berlin expressed deep concern, emphasizing that such dangerous violations at a family-friendly venue are outrageous and will not be tolerated in DuPage County.

This shocking incident is the third gun-related arrest at the Naperville TopGolf this September. Earlier, Darron Prince, 36, from Joliet, and Ronald Richardson, 34, from Chicago, were arrested on the 11th and 26th, respectively, both for illegal firearm possession.

Littleton’s arraignment is scheduled for October 16.
